Aylesbury District Matrix Explorer Scouts Wildlife Conservation Project in Botswana 2028

Every donation will help us to our goal

We're an Explorer Scout unit that is taking part in a wildlife conservation project in Botswana in 2028

Some of the Wildlife Conservation activities that we will be taking part in

Barrier Construction

Barrier construction plays a crucial role in wildlife conservation by creating physical barriers that prevent the unintended interactions between wild animals and human activities.

Water Infrastructure

Water infrastructure is essential for maintaining the balance of nature and ensuring the survival of wildlife species. By investing in and managing water infrastructure wisely, we can create a sustainable future for both people and wildlife.

Wildlife Monitoring

Wildlife monitoring is a crucial part of conservation work, providing essential data that helps us protect endangered species, understand ecosystem health, and guide conservation strategies.

Anti-Poaching Activities

Anti-poaching activities play a crucial role in wildlife conservation by reducing illegal hunting and protecting endangered species. These activities include increased surveillance, community engagement.

I would highly recommend Projects Abroad to anyone as they’re well organised and take the stress off of you especially when you have to travel far from home. It’s comforting knowing they’re always only a phone call away if anything goes amiss.

Volunteering with Wildlife in Botswana for Teenagers

I loved actively helping out and removing the fences that were harming animals and blocking their migratory paths. It felt like I was really making a difference!
